I have been round to my near neighbours to view their fantastic new kitchen/family room extension which has been in the making for almost the last twelve months. I knew this project was on the cards because when the previous owners were selling to move, they said a nice family had bought the house. I thought it odd that a family of four adults and a dog would buy a house much smaller than mine. But they were up front and announced they’d been waiting for two years for one such house to come to the market so they could do a real refurb and put their mark on it. The finished work is fantastic – the cabinet work is exsquisite in a dark charcoal grey hue. At first it seemed a little dark but it does look smart, with sparkling chrome door furniture and taps. The white inset sink in the huge island unit is something to behold too. Altogether a truly whizzer job done by their local designer and build team!
